Accessibility statement
I want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
Conformance target
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In a few places it goes further, for example there’s no motion triggered by interaction, and link text makes sense on its own.
How it’s tested
- Automated checks run on every page in light and dark themes, at phone and desktop widths, using axe-core. The build also checks colour contrast for every colour in the design system, in standard and increased-contrast modes.
- Keyboard testing covers the skip link, focus order and visible focus on the main page types.
- Manual testing with screen readers and browser settings is recorded in the project’s test log.
What you can do on this site
- Change the colour theme with the “Dark theme” button. If your system asks for more contrast, the site uses a higher-contrast palette automatically.
- Zoom up to 400% without content being cut off or scrolling sideways.
- Use the site without JavaScript. Charts are drawn when the page is built and every chart comes with a written summary and a data table.
