About
I’m a technical program manager based in Seattle. I started as a software engineer at Avalara, writing backend systems for high-volume compliance work, then moved into program management, coordinating eight engineering teams to keep the platform stable through peak season. That’s where I learned how products actually get built, and how to get many teams moving in the same direction.
Since then I’ve gone deep on the kinds of programs where getting it wrong harms people. At Smartsheet I built a design-to-code accessibility framework and moved accessibility testing into continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). Today at W.W. Norton I lead accessibility across 700+ ebook titles and 27,000 PowerPoint files, and I’m bringing AI into content workflows with human review built in, so speed doesn’t come at the cost of accessibility or trust.
Earlier, as a volunteer with UW HuskyADAPT, I designed a chorded-keyboarding tool and an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app with students with neuromuscular disabilities and their occupational therapist. That work made “centre the people affected” a working practice for me rather than a slogan, and it’s the thread through everything I take on.
